Toxic Tuesday: Gangrene Tooth Causing Sinus and Lung Problems

Toxic Tuesday: Gangrene tooth causing sinus and lung problems.

Today’s story is about a middle-aged man who injured his front tooth as a child. After the traumatic tooth accident, the nerve died and root canal therapy was performed. In his early 20s another tooth became painful in the upper right posterior jaw. His upper right first molar was also treated with a root canal. Within a few years he started experiencing chronic lung and sinus problems. He shared that he has suffered for more than a decade with not being able to breathe through his nose. He also shared that his nose runs and has drainage constantly. His throat experiences swelling and he can’t sleep well due to his limited breathing capacity.

As it turns out, both of the teeth in which he had root canal therapy were suffering from severe infection and the upper right molar is on the energetic meridian of the lungs and sinuses! The two teeth were extracted following the BDC protocol and the sockets were grafted with his own healing cells which we refer to as “L-PRF” (a concentration of his own immune cells and clotting factors). A fake porcelain tooth was created using the “CEREC” system in about 20 minutes and then glued to the adjacent teeth. Within a couple months his lung and sinus issues resolved.

He wore the temporary tooth for about 2 years. He loved that it was a non-invasive, immediate solution to replacing his tooth. He ultimately decided to replace the tooth with a more permanent solution of a ceramic dental implant with a ceramic crown. I will share this process in tomorrow’s Wellness Wednesday post.
